WePad is a High Clash Tablet

Neofonie sure has no intentions of making a rival over Apple’s iPad as they unleashed their WePad, an Android-powered tablet that has similar functions with iPad only that its main target consumers are the elder readers.

This thing is said to be a little heavier and bigger than iPad but is priced in a low, low amount but functions for easy reading access of newspapers or magazines. Some of its special features include Flash Adobe Air, and access to the WePad AppStore and Google’s own Android Marketplace, to name a few.

WePad is a robust machine that has an 11.6″ display (1366×768), a quick 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, a webcam (for video chats, we imagine), two USB sockets, a flash card reader, integrated WWAN modem, GMA3150 graphics (far better than on most e-readers) and a battery that is said to last six hours.

In addition, it has a built-in 16GB of NAND Flash (32GB optional), a 1.3MP webcam, and SIM card slot, Bluetooth 2.1 & Wi-Fi connectivity, optional GPS, an ambient light & motion sensor and an internal microfan to keep things cool. Such specifications can make the WePad deliver high class performance above its competitors. I wonder if this product will still standout once the iPad hits the store shelves.

Well, Neofonie has been fair enough and brilliant in putting all together the possible and effective features that a tablet should posses in their WePad so it wouldn’t be any surprise if consumers will go fish for WePad over its rivals.
