Toshiba aren’t a huge name when it comes to devices such as hard drives. Although they have been in the industry for quite a long time now, they are mostly prominent as a provider of high class computers. But recently, Toshiba has come up with a new back up device they dubbed as Toshiba’s Canvio Hard Drive.

Canvio is Toshiba’s new backup solution to offer their consumers. It comes in four storage capacities, ranging from 500GB to 1TB, packed in a pocket-sized structure that is smaller than a postcard. This Toshiba hard drive sports 5,400 rpm rotational speeds, 12 ms seek times, and USB 2.0 connectivity with theoretical transfer rates up to 480Mb/s. Canvio works well with Windows XP, Vista, to Windows 7 and comes in five variant colors.

Each one is equipped with NTI BackupNow EZ software that entails easy and seamless file transfer. Canvio may only have the traditional features of a hard drive but it’s sure to perform well as your backup solution.
